At Bespoke by RAW by RAW, we bring your leather dreams to life through pure craftsmanship, intuition, and detail. As one of the last remaining Australian ateliers dedicated to the art of bespoke leather tailoring, we pride ourselves on translating your ideas into exclusive, hand-finished garments — individually cut, shaped, and stitched within our Melbourne workshop.

Whether your wish is for an entirely original creation or a subtle refinement — a perfected sleeve length, an additional pocket, or a neckline redesigned to frame you flawlessly — we make each piece to honour your personal expression.

Our artisans work with a curated selection of the world’s
finest Italian leathers — from supple lambskin to structured cowhide — chosen for their touch, tone, and timeless endurance. Each garment is tailored to the highest standard, imbued with the quiet luxury of something made just for you.

With all production carried out locally, your bespoke piece is typically ready within 2–10 days, depending on the complexity of your request.

REQUEST APPOINTMENT

Our Bespoke Process:

Every bespoke creation begins with you— your vision, your fit, your story. Our process ensures each detail is considered and every piece reflects the dedication, craftsmanship, and artistry behind RAW by RAW.

1. Book Your Consultation

Begin your bespoke journey by booking an obligation-free appointment online or over the phone. To respect the time we devote to each client, we kindly ask that any changes or cancellations be made with at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed initial consultations without notice will require a deposit to reschedule.

2. Your Personal Consultation
During your private consultation, we will measure you, explore every aspect of your design — from silhouette and style preferences to the selection of leathers, hides, trims, and hardware. We’ll also discuss timelines and provide an initial indication of cost.

3. Design Confirmation
Once your design concept is refined and specified in full detail, we finalise the selection of leather, trims, and hardware. At this stage, a formal quotation and production timeline are provided, and a 50% deposit is required to commence your bespoke piece.

4. Fitting & Refinement
A fitting appointment is arranged with your toile (a calico-fitting sample) to perfect every detail of shape and proportion. Should any adjustments be needed, our artisans refine the pattern before proceeding. Once your toile is confirmed, the remaining 50% balance is required to complete your final garment.

5. Completion & Collection
Your finished piece is then handcrafted in our Melbourne atelier — a unique creation made exclusively for you. Once complete, you are invited to collect your garment from our atelier, ready to be worn, treasured, and enjoyed for years to come.
